Darkroom Prints from the Contact Sheets Below

Little side project at school...all these images are digital pics of photographs printed in the darkroom

Gah! They look so pixelated once they're uploaded to the internet!! They aren't even digital photographs, so I assure you, there are no pixels in the actual photographs. But as I said above, these are just pics of good old fashioned photographs from negatives. I don't know why the digital images uploaded so pixel-y. It gets even worse when you click on the image to see the enlarged version.
I must get more tech savvy so I can learn how to fix this.

First 3: 16 in X 20 in RC prints

(this one below doesn't go with these other 2 as well....the shading obviously didn't end up the same but whatever)

All these next ones are smaller prints (11 in X 14 in)
I like them, but some of them aren't as strong.

This image doesn't actually go with the ones above....I just printed it regularly, for fun. It's still obviously not a neat print, but it just has all the typical, recognizable Holga effects (light leaks, soft focus, etc)

Contact Sheet: Big E

I love beautifully messed up images :)

These are contact sheets from 2 rolls of film I shot, with a Holga (incase anyone was curious lol). I do a lot of experimental photography for my independent film work, so here is just a glimpse.

As always, click the images to see the enlargement...you will probably have to with these to see what they actually are.

I love the textures of these distorted prints so much that I'm being a dork and doing details of my contact sheets haha...
(I do actually have real prints from these contact sheets...I'll have to upload those at some point, although they look nothing like these contact sheets because I used different developing processes)

MassMoCA: Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art

These first few:
A George Bolster piece, called Reckoner

Below:
An Anselm Keifer painting....not sure of the title

And all Sol LeWitt below :)
I usually am not too enthusiastic about minimalist art, but I've always enjoyed Sol LeWitt...very cool stuff to see

Michelle and Beau Engagement Shots

A handful of shots from the engagement photos I shot with Michelle and Beau this past weekend. It was a lot of fun going out and trying something new, since I've never shot something like this before...and of course congratulations guys!

this last one keeps uploading very pixely...not sure why since the actual image isn't like that...maybe I'll try and figure out the problem tomorrow

Fall <3

Pumpkin Carving! with Mark, Kris and Alex

hahaha we are such dorks! But check out our finished pumpkins! I drew them on, but stole the face ideas from google searching "jack-o-lanterns" so I really shouldn't take credit lol.

Erin and Leah at the pumpkin patch.

Not really fall related, but I love red tones in photographs.

hmm self portraiture?

I just call them "self portraits" so I don't feel so lame about having pictures of myself haha. Really they're just of me goofing around, taking pictures out of boredom lol.
